Cthulhu.

I’m just not a big fan of Halloween. I am a big fan of Cthulhu though and I’ve been itching to draw him for a couple weeks now and it’s a funny coincidence that I decided to do so on Halloween of all days. It’s appropriate to say the least. I did a bit of [...]

“Blackest Night” Report #1

We’ve reached the halfway mark in Blackest Night with issue #4 this week and I feel compelled to write about my general thoughts on the series thus far. I’ve only been actively following Blackest Night itself, Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps so I can’t comment on the tie-ins though I hear they are rather [...]

My 2 big issues with PixelJunk Monsters.

My 2 big issues with PixelJunk Monsters.

PixelJunk Monsters is a fantastic game. I recently got the expansion for it and I’m enjoying it much as I did the original game. It’s probably my favorite game on the PSN as of right now but there are two things about it that piss me off and makes it difficult for me to play [...]

An oldie: Mega Man and Bosses

An oldie: Mega Man and Bosses

This is another piece I did a couple years ago. It’s been sitting in the color section of this site (much like Mario vs. Bowser did) but being that it’s a completed piece and that I haven’t really worked on anything other than my comic pitch, I thought it’d throw it on the front page. [...]

The Completed Pitch

After all these months it’s finally done: my comic book pitch is completed. Above is the proposed cover and after the break are the first 11 pages of issue 1 (only the first five are lettered and the last two are a WIP spread though) + a brief description of what the comic is about.

A “The Umbrella Academy: Dallas” Review.

A

The first Umbrella Academy series is a fantastic read. It was refreshing, it was inventive and the pacing was nearly flawless so it’s only fitting for its sequel, The Umbrella Academy: Dallas, to be greeted with very high expectations. As usual, I waited for all six issues of the series to be collected into a [...]

Looking forward to Epic Mickey.

Looking forward to Epic Mickey.

Epic Mickey, the title Warren Spector has been working on, is set to be revealed in the next Game Informer. We have no information on it other than the above image (click on it for full version) and it’s such a phenomenal piece of artwork that, along with the great title (Epic Mickey just sounds [...]
