Cthulhu.
I’m just not a big fan of Halloween.
I am a big fan of Cthulhu though and I’ve been itching to draw him for a couple weeks now and it’s a funny coincidence that I decided to do so on Halloween of all days. It’s appropriate to say the least.
I did a bit of rendering with colored pencil in there (which I always like) but there’s not much else I can say about the process of getting Cthulhu on paper as it was a pretty straightforward endeavor. I looked for a description of the creature in Wikipedia so I wouldn’t screw it up but it was a pointless exercise, I know what Cthulhu looks like.
I don’t think I’ve read Lovecraft’s “The Call of Cthulhu” in its entirety (or maybe I did) and I think it’s about time I sat down and read the damn thing (or re-read it as the case may be).
