Sketchbook Update – 11/5/09
A new sketchbook update and a new banner for my pretty site.
I made the old banner in May and even back then I wasn’t rocking the green sketchbook anymore. I thought it’d be a good idea to make a new banner with work from my current, “red layout” sketchbook which is, incidentally, where these images come from.
More after the break (not as many as last time though).
I did these pages after spending almost a month away from my sketchbook, shortly after I forced myself to work from photographs and magazines (as I mentioned in the last of these updates). Once I put pencil on paper again, and much to my dismay, I found out that I was doing simply godawful work. I’m not posting any of it here but it was really terrible and I was wondering what the hell had happened. The funny thing is that 3 or 4 pages later, I got back on my game and was doing some great stuff, even better than before perhaps. Some of those pages are what you see above.
That banner looks so much better, I swear.
