Wants No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise.
Back in 2008, No More Heroes was released on the Wii here in the US. It was a unique game that I enjoyed a great deal despite it being bogged down by a fair number of annoyances. A proper sequel to the game is coming next year on the Wii but, before that, Japan is getting an HD version of the original game on the PS3 and Xbox 360 titled No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise.
Two reason why I want to play this:
1) The original game was rather lacking on a technical level and the HD version looks lovely from what I’ve seen so far. It won’t look as good as a “built from the ground up” next gen game I’d imagine, but it’ll make the game easier to look at.
2) I want to try it with regular controls. Wiimote implementation was nicely done and never overt in the original game but I’m curious as to how much is lost in the transition to a regular, non waggle controller.
Apparently, Ubisoft has no intention of publishing this game stateside but here’s hoping somebody else picks up the publishing rights instead.

HELL…YES….hopefully though…it comes out before NMH2…otherwise that seems a bit odd
this will be a TRUE test of gameplay vs graphics….as nice as it looks…i think im going to miss the excitement of doing the wrestling moves and the killing blows with my hands, it was really hard NOT to get over excited while playing NMH, that game may lack polish (worst overworld ever…and having to drive the job center and then to the job was tedious…why not just call it and go to the job…)
not to mention…NMH is probably the only game I’ve ever played where I was just as furious as the main character…. can you think of what “fight” im thinking of S.?
Ghostbusters might be the only other game where I can think of drawing this comparison.
Was it the fight that Henry prevents you from fighting?
Because that was such a weird moment in the game. You’re going through business as usual and all of a sudden “who the hell is that guy? what? what the hell happened!?”
The more I watch videos of NMH2, the more I want to replay the first one.
NMH2 is going to kick ass.
@sebastian
yeah its that fight, whats even more is the lead up to that fight is really annoying as you run down this long repeating tunnel….chasing a perpetually out of reach boss….when you emerger …you are greeted with a pretty meaty cutscene only for Henry to literally cut the action short, much to travis’s dismay
