I mean, the last time an animated film got nominated for best picture was what? The Beauty and the Beast? That was a long time ago and Pixar has been pushing quality stuff for years. It could be argued that Avatar is an animated film also. Yeah but it’s still nice for animated films to get a little more recognition.
