Technical Difficulties (!#@%)
It seems like every 8 months or so my computer comes down with some serious crap and well, it’s that time again.
Windows 7 has been as trouble free an operating system as I’ve ever used but something has been acting up since earlier this week and I think my hard drive is the culprit. It’s made my computer virtually unusable for two days now so I have to install Windows 7 in my secondary drive, see if that’s indeed the problem and then spend $$$ on a big enough drive to store all my crap in, not to mention re-install every piece of software I have. Le sigh.
This completely ruins my three days off this week that I planned to spend coloring stuff in Photoshop and writing some articles (I have drafts of everything from Predators and Inception reviews to “the Neal Adams experience” among others). And with SDCC this weekend, there’s no shortage of stuff to talk about (new MVC3 characters!) so yeah, bad timing as I’ll be spending most of this time fixing my computer now.
Oh, well.
(Typing this from my girlfriend’s, by the way.)
