Superwoman’s Boyfriend: Clark Kent
When Project: Rooftop’s call for Lois Lane fan art came in, my initial impulse was to do a take on Daily Planet LL, using her characterization in Superman: TAS as a general springboard. But somehow, at some point, the thought of the reverse of the classic Supes and Lois flying shot came to mind and I completely changed gears.
This piece is similar to my Supergirl piece from a couple months back in some ways but completely different in others. I used very loose linework here which is always very relaxing (and which I definitely want to try again soon) and, though mostly flat shading, there is more roundness and volume to the figures here.
Now back to work on a commission.
