“Let’s go, bub.”
It’s oftentimes frustrating for me to work entirely digitally. Something about doing the line art on a tablet just doesn’t feel right unless I’m going super loose. That’s why making the line art to my Mario fights on paper generally leads to a smoother process but, oddly enough, that’s about the only time where something I plan on coloring is done traditionally.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had trouble in getting anything off the ground and only until I realized the above fact did I decide to do start on good ol’ fashioned paper. I chose Wolverine, dove right into it and yeah, it was a much smoother process. Then I took it into Photoshop for some quick coloring and voila.
Now I feel like I can finally go back and finish one of those pieces that was giving me trouble.
