Thanks! I quite like how this turned out design-wise myself. I wish I'd spent more time on the cape though, it looks stiff instead of flowing. Oh, well.

This is great! I've seen a lot of Superman redesigns, but this one really caught my eye. It seems well balanced. He seems like a darker (in tone) character than traditional but the design itself is top notch. Nice job. Also great job with the cell-shading. I'm trying to get better at that myself. I have a few superman redesigns over at my blog but everything at a sketch level rather than finished art.

this kind of gets to the separation that i have in some games that you don't...and also where half life falls for me...

you tend to put your self in the protagonist shoes alot, and i tend (especially scripted linear games) see it from the outside; like there is a script and i get to direct part of the action

on another note, on a show they were talking about GTA and what if they added dark souls like multiplayer...so basically you would do your missions; but other players would be in your world also doing their own missions, and you may run into them...it might be crappy cause it might make getting rockstar missions done more random and harder to complete as a result...or it might just cater to the fact that no one actually plays rockstar games and just gets people to run around doing dumb stuff
