Gundam Cyclops

This was done for the newly started Drink and Draw NYC weekly challenges. It’s amusing to me that I’m doing these from Barcelona but I loved going to the Drink and Draw gatherings back in the lovely city of New York so these online challenges are a great way to keep in touch with that [...]

Miles Morales: Spider-Man

I didn’t really like my last piece so I set out to redeem myself and may have done my best piece yet. Without getting into it too much, let’s just say that my initial knee-jerk reaction to Miles Morales was “oh great, publicity stunt” but the more I read about it, the more I realized [...]

SKRATCHJAMS: Spider-Man Z

Another week, another SKRATCHJAMS entry. The challenge this week was to re-envision Spider-Man as a Dragonball Z, Naruto or One Piece character. I have utmost affection for DBZ (and none for the other two) so the decision was clear. DBZ character designs tend to have very loose clothing and that just didn’t sit right with me [...]

No more than two years later and Favreau and crew are back with a sequel. Iron Man 2 packs higher [...]

A “Kick-Ass” review.

A

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 = Official

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 = Official

‘Nuff said? Not quite. Below are some of my thoughts/concerns regarding the admittedly sparse info we have on the game so far.

Disney to acquire Marvel Entertainment.

Disney to acquire Marvel Entertainment.

Very interesting stuff. It doesn’t seem that strange when to take into consideration that DC is owned by Warner though, i.e. another comic book company owned by another large conglomerate. Maybe we’ll get a Disney quality animated film with Marvel characters? In 2D if we’re lucky? Because the direct to DVD animated line from Marvel [...]
