REVENGEANCE is HERE!

Platinum Games newest is finally in stores so let’s celebrate with a Hideo Kojima cut trailer of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I’ve been waiting for this game since it was first announced, back when it was a different beast, before Platinum came aboard. Reviews are favorable but, regardless, this is a game I MUST play. [...]

Another quality trailer…

Yes, more trailer posts but I can’t help myself, the quality trailers just keep on coming. This time it’s the latest trailer for season 2 of Game of Thrones (why is it not titled Clash of Kings?) and, well, give it a look already. I’ve already seen it about 20 times and so should you. [...]

A gamer’s video game trailer

The original Borderlands prided itself in being a gamer’s video game by focusing on the most basic and gratifying elements of why we play games and latching itself to that part of our brains with an iron grip. I have very fond memories of Borderlands and, by all acounts, it was game with some issues [...]

Metal Gear Rising + Platinum Games = You got my money

The first trailer for Metal Gear Rising definitely piqued my curiosity but the long secrecy behind the game along with the lack of any solid information on what it was actually gonna play like (stealth? action? both?) and Kojima Productions’ ability to truly deliver on the “Lighting Fast Action” tagline has caused my interest in [...]

More “Berserk Saga Project” details.

More

The new Berserk animated project that I mentioned close to a year ago is finally set to arrive in 2012 from Warner Bros. and STUDIO 4°C. Berserk Saga, as it is now known, will be a series of films that aims to adapt the entirety of the Berserk manga into animation. The initial film trilogy, [...]

E3 2011: And the winner is…

E3 2011: And the winner is...

This year’s E3 had some old stuff, some new stuff, some cool stuff, some not so cool stuff and some downright disappointing stuff but what can I say? I’m a sucker for the capitalization challenged WipEout and yes, with WipEout 2048 being a launch title for the PlayStation Vita, that means I’ll be getting Sony’s [...]

Thundercats re-imagining looking solid.

Thundercats re-imagining looking solid.

I’ll be the first to admit that the Thundercats doesn’t hold a lot of nostalgic value for me. I remember watching it religiously not out of pure love for the series but mostly because watching cartoons all day is just what you do when you’re a kid. There were memorable things about it (Lion-O’s trials [...]

First “Green Lantern” trailer

First

I was tempted to make a trip to see the new Harry Potter movie (a series a have little interest in) just to catch the above trailer. That’s how much I’m looking forward to this movie and said trailer, released yesterday, is just adding to that excitement. The short glimpses we get of Sinestro, Tomar-Re and [...]

More animated Berserk is a great thing.

Kentaro Miura’s still running Berserk is among the best mangas to come out of Japan and the anime adaptation that first got me into it ended in a massive cliffhanger. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the Berserk TV series was but a giant commercial for the manga but it was still [...]

Mass Effect 2 is going to kick so much ass.

January 26th, 2010. What else comes out in January? No More Heroes 2 and Bayonetta. Three of my most anticipated games just days between one another. This is ridiculous.
